  • Federal Pell Grant


    The Federal Pell Grant program offers grants to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need.  The maximum federal Pell grant for the 2022/2023 award year is  $6895. 

  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)


    The FSEOG program provides need-based grants up to $1,000 to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need.

  • Federal TEACH Grant


    The Federal TEACH Grant provides up to $4,000 and is available to undergraduate students willing to complete four years of qualifying teaching in return for receiving the grant.

  • TEXAS Grant Program


    The TEXAS Grant program, using a combination of grant and scholarship funding, covers the cost of tuition and fees for Texas resident undergraduate students who meet eligibility criteria.

    Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG)


    Need-based grant offered to undergraduate and graduate students who meet eligibility criteria.  These grants  require at least halftime enrollment and are prorated for enrollment that is less than fulltime.  Grant funding levels are capped at 4-years for students who entered UNT as freshman and 2-years for students who transferred to UNT.
