Fall 2023 Important Dates

To ensure consideration of aid awards for the Fall term, this timeline is your guide to FAFSA and TASFA processing. Visit Priority Deadlines and Dates for more information on deadlines for Spring and Summer.

January 15


Complete your financial aid application by January 15 for consideration for all forms of aid for Fall 2023.

June 1


Complete all "To Do" items in MyUNT. Review and accept financial aid offers by June 1 to ensure disbursement for Fall 2023.

July 1


FAFSA/TASFA completed after July 1 is unlikely to result in financial aid in time for the Fall 2023 payment deadline.

August 17


Students with an outstanding balance are at risk of being dropped from classes after August 17.

The 2023-2024 FAFSA is now available

FAFSA is a free application used to determine financial aid eligibility. To complete the FAFSA, you must first create an FSA ID.
