UNT Texas Transfer Scholarships are available for students transferring from a Texas community college or an accredited Texas university with a minimum of 45 attempted credit hours but less than 120 hours. Attempted hours exclude credit hours earned from AP, CLEP, military, etc.
Students must be active in a UNT program to receive this award. Students active in a UNT Dallas program should contact UNT Dallas for scholarship opportunites.
The scholarship is renewable one additional, consecutive academic yearThe period during which school is in session, consisting of at least 30 weeks of instructional time. The school year typically runs from the beginning of September through the end of May at most colleges and universities. (excluding summer), or until the completion of your UNT undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.

Awards are renewable for a second year for students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per fall and spring term at UNT, and maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA while completing his or her UNT undergraduate degree.
