The UNT Student Financial Aid & Scholarships office will host College Goal Sunday, a non-profit program that helps you and your families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA must be filled out and completed if you're applying for financial aid, which includes grants, loans, and work-study. The program will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 12, 2012 in Room 185 of UNT’s Business Building, which is located on Highland Street.
If you're an incoming UNT student or a college-bound student interested in completing the FAFSA, then you can pre-register at College Goal Sunday. Pre-registering is recommended, but not required. Those who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for a $250 book voucher.
College Goal Sunday, a national program, mobilizes financial aid and educational professionals from area high schools, colleges and universities to help families of college-bound students complete the FAFSA. Last year, Texas students were awarded more than $4 billion in state and federal financial aid. UNT will be one of more than 40 locations to host the event.
